The Opposition MPs: Ana Natsvlishvili, Ana Buchukuri, Hermann Szabo, Khatuna Imnadze and Tamar Kordzaia held a meeting with the Speakers of the Factions within the structure of the Foreign Relations Committee of the German Bundestag, serving the visit to Georgia.

The meeting was dedicated to the deliberations of the pre-electoral milieu and the challenges related to the hereof processes.

“At the meeting with our German guests, the foremost message that was voiced was that there is no room for Georgia in the EU with such an attitude of the Government to the West and the political approaches. The guests asked about the vision of the opposition regarding the coalitional government and the cooperation in certain aspects”, - H. Szabo, a member of the Political Group “Girchi” noted.

According to the member of the Political Group “For Georgia”, Ana Buchukuri, the German politicians reiterated their affirmation that Germany is committed to further supporting Georgia and the Georgian people.

“The representatives of the German Bundestag have a clear acknowledgment of the gravity of the current situation and their main message, which is uppermost for me and my political team, is that despite the harsh anti-Western rhetoric of the Government and the attacks against the high officials of Germany, Germany keeps standing by the side of Georgia and the Georgian people”, - she stated.
