The Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, H.E. Shalva Papuashvili, held a meeting with the Speaker of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, H.E. Dünýägözel Gulmanowa.

During the meeting, both parties highlighted the existing friendly relations between Georgia and Turkmenistan and explored avenues for further deepening parliamentary cooperation. They placed particular emphasis on enhancing connections between relevant committees of legislative bodies and inter-parliamentary friendship groups, as well as the significance of exchange visits in the realm of parliamentary diplomacy.

The discussions also encompassed an overview of the parliamentary activities in both countries and the prevailing regulations in their respective legislative bodies.
