The meeting of Dimitri Tskitishvili with the students

The Deputy Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Dimitri Tskitishvili met with the students and introduced the role of the Parliament and namely of the Committee.

The parties discussed the foreign policy of Georgia, EU aspiration, the road so far in this direction and the challenges, Parliamentary oversight function and its role in foreign policy formation and implementation, as well as the Parliament-Government relations and the priorities of foreign policy.

The students expressed their positions regarding the foreign policy and asked the questions.

“The meeting was interactive and interesting. We discussed the foreign policy. The students asked about the activity of the Foreign Committee and the priorities of the Parliament and the Government. We touched upon the role of the Parliament in formation of policy and the Parliamentary oversight function”, - D. Tskitishvili noted.
