The parties spoke about relations, cooperation and current problems between Georgia and North Caucasian nations. The meeting was attended by the Director of Circassian Culture Centre, M. Chukhua.

It was noted that it is important to enhance relations and restore cultural links, as well as approximate scientific circles. Emphasis was made on cultural and educational relations and opportunity for Caucasian region students to study in Georgian Universities was considered.

Gubaz Sanikidze hoped that historical links between Georgians and Circassians will further enhance. “We are ready to cooperate as friendly and harmonic relations with neighbors are important for Georgia as without them Georgia cannot be the full-fledged state”.
